Since my last post How To Love Going On Road Trips With Your Baby just a mere three days ago my hubby and I added another Road Trip to our calendar. I’m super excited about all the fun things we have planned this year. In order to prep the way only a true Organized Mother can prep, I began to envision my road trip must haves. The more I thought about it the more I realized we already have some pretty amazing things that we have been using all these years.

In no particular order I have listed items that we have splurged on in the past to make our road trips top notch. In today’s post I am listing 7 Astoundingly Epic Road Trip Splurges. When you see the list below you will not know how you ever traveled without them! I know that I totally can’t.

How To Love Going On Road Trips With Your Baby

How To Love Going On Road Trips With Your Baby

When Morgan was just 7 months old we took our first Road Trip with her. We drove from Los Angeles to Mammoth Lakes. A roughly 6 and half hour trip to visit my parents. With Morgan the trip ended up taking almost 9 hours, but it was well worth the extra time. Morgan was a pure joy in the car, but then again most 7 month old’s are because they tend to sleep most of the time. Here we are today, Morgan is now 16 months old and we will be taking that same Road Trip in just two weeks.

We learned a lot from that first trip. We also learned a lot from several smaller trips we have taken since. Including a three hour disastrous crying frenzy of a trip to Oxnard for a Strawberry Festival. Luckily that trip wasn’t the norm and since then we have learned how to keep an active toddler entertained on a long car ride. In today’s post I am going to share with you How To Love Going On Road Trips With Your Baby.

5 Of The Best Products For A Home With Cats

5 Of The Best Products For A Home With Cats

Meet George and Jax. George is our outgoing, crazy, destroyer of all things Bengal mix. Jax hiding in the background is our shy, timid, fluffy love ball Domestic. They are both the bane of my existence and the loves of my life. In writing my series of posts regarding Spring Cleaning I feel as though I left out one important factor. I may Spring Clean but about 5 minutes later the house is a complete disaster once again. The reason being is that I am a pet parent. Our cats create messes that I have no idea how they can even be possible.

In today’s post I am going to share with you 5 Of The Best Products For A Home With Cats. Austin and I have been pet parents far longer than real parents. Morgan is going on 16 months. George and Jax, they have been with us for 9 and 8 years respectively. Both George and Jax are rescue kitties.

21 Simple Tips For Selling Your Treasures On eBay

The 21 Simple Tips For Selling Your Treasures On eBay

My sister had started selling on eBay a few years back. One day she was telling me about all of the success that she was having selling her unwanted treasures. She was now the second person in my close circle that was selling and making money on eBay. The other person was Austin. But you know husbands they do all sorts of crazy things so I pretty much ignored his success.

It was a little over 2 years ago now that I had just finished my spring cleaning for the season and I had so many things that I just couldn’t part with at another yard sale. Although I had perfected yard sales and truly loved them (read my post about it here: How to Make A Fortune And Have Fun At Your Yard Sale!); my yard sales were only generating so much compared to what I could sell some items for on eBay. Especially my budding purse collection that needed to be refreshed. Out with the old, in with the new!!!

So I finally sat down with Austin and he showed me his eBay selling techniques. I can be quite stubborn with learning new things. Especially if it doesn’t entirely interest me, or if I want a nice shortcut. So why not use Austin’s expertise, he had been selling on eBay for years. Small car gadgets and machine parts that he would make good money on. I needed to know his secrets. And quickly, I didn’t have time to waste!

3 Remarkable Mommy Under The Weather Products That Heal

3 Remarkable Mommy Under The Weather Products To Overcome

Over a month ago I came down with your run of the mill cold. I brushed it off like no big deal, took my vitamins and continued to live my life. Day by day the cold itself faded but a terrible cough developed and lingered. To this day it still lingers. When I stop to think about it I realize that the reason I can never heal is because I never take the time to heal.

As moms we are so concerned with our babies, our husbands and our homes; that we leave so little for ourselves. As I sit here writing this post I am on the first sick day that I have taken for myself this year even though I have been sick a few times. I truly think that if I would have followed my own pre-baby advice I would have been all better by now.

How To Explain The Meaning Of Easter To Your Toddler

How To Explain The Meaning of Easter To Your Toddler

In March I wrote a super successful post about How to Explain The Spirit Of St. Patrick’s Day To Your Toddler. I received overwhelmingly positive feedback. I also learned so much from doing the post about St. Patrick’s Day. A recurring comment that I received was that I should create a similar post for each upcoming holiday. I think that is a fantastic idea! I will have to explain each holiday to Morgan anyway and what a better way than to actually learn the true facts behind them. Today I will be sharing with you How to Explain The Meaning Of Easter To Your Toddler.

How To Spring Clean Your Bathroom With Baby’s Safety In Mind

How To Spring Clean Your Bathroom With Baby's Safety In MindSpring Cleaning is not only about “Out With The Old” but it’s also about “In With The New.” In today’s post I’m going to be addressing something that I seriously didn’t even think would be an issue until my little Morgan began to walk: Bathroom Safety. She literally gets into everything. She wants to open every single cabinet and drawer. I love it because she is a natural explorer. But I worry that she will find something harmful. Whether it be a small object she can swallow or something toxic that can be hazardous.
