This is seriously awesome! It’s May 1st and I’m posting about another Featured MOMtrepreneur.
I am so happy to be doing this for the third month in a row. I hope you are just as happy to meet May’s MOMtrepreneur! A MOMtrepreneur is a woman who sets up and runs her own business in addition to caring for her child or children.
A MOMtrepreneur can be anyone. From a stay at home mom blogger to a 9-5 day job mom that has a passion for sewing. I know so many remarkable moms out there that hold down a 9-5 job, have a side hustle and raise amazing kids. How do they do it? Especially with only so many hours in the day. I am here to find out and share these astounding ladies stories with all of you in addition to promoting their businesses. Because most of all us mom’s need to help one another!
I was so lucky to meet Nicole from jthreeNMe on a Facebook Blogger Group Page. It’s such an amazing time that we live in, that I can be introduced to such a wonderful mom on social media. When I started the MOMtrepreneur features I never imaged it would be so enjoyable, but it really is! It would be an absolute pleasure meeting more mom’s among my readers. If you are a MOMtrepreneur and would like to share your story on my Blog please send me an email at email@example.com. I will send you all the details! Please reach out and share your story with all of us!
Today’s feature jthreeNMe is a fellow blogger. She has three amazing children who she raises as a stay at home mom. In addition to raising three babies (which she equates to being the ringleader of a three ring circus), this MOMtrepreneur is a honest, raw and empowering mommy blogger and a seller of clothing on Poshmark. Poshmark is a mobile and online marketplace for women’s fashion. I am happy to introduce to you Nicole!
Hi! My name is Nicole and I am a thirty-one-year old mom of three! I am the ringleader of our circus show that travels around Tampa, Florida; entertaining the unexpected public with total cuteness, tantrums and crazy antics.
Originally I am from Staten Island, New York, but grew up in Tampa, Florida. I attended college at Stonehill College and following graduation, I continued on to study for my Juris Doctorate law degree at Saint Thomas University. After one semester of law school, I realized that the practice of law and all that “arguing” was not for me. Instead, I was ready to start my family circus in my husband’s home state of Virginia.
While in Virginia, I worked as a service coordinator for a therapeutic foster care agency. I also worked as a legal assistant for a prominent criminal defense attorney. Then, after a little over a year performing in Virginia, my husband, and I decided to make the move back to Tampa, where I would be a stay-at-home-mom. This new role was so very welcomed by me.
Since moving to Tampa, the public has been regularly entertained by my children—whether they like it or not. My eldest daughter, Payton, is our circus’ five year old, well-mannered, star performer in the making. Headlining most of the escapades is my middle son, Weston, age three, whose role as “the dictator” could make even an audience want to throw in the white towel and surrender to his every want and whine. The youngest performer of the bunch is my little girl, Harper, who at fourteen months, already has climbing skills that make you think American Ninja Warrior is in her future.
To be honest, sometimes I feel as though these little monkeys are directing the show and that my role has been demoted to lion tamer. But, with the help of my husband of eight years, Josh, to keep the show in business, our beautiful, yet messy family continues to truck along.
Our third child was born in February of 2016 and by January of 2017, I was getting an itch to do something more; to be something more than just “Mommy”. This is when I rediscovered my love of writing. I always enjoyed writing in school, but now I have a topic I feel passionate and knowledgeable about discussing—parenting.
My website, jthreeNMe, is a raw, honest, empowering, inspiring and entertaining peek at real-life parenting. I post multiple times a week and I write about my struggles and triumphs as a wife and mother. My post writing has become a real-life outlet for me to share my unique momma parenting style; through honest, personal and yes, sometimes embarrassing, stories. Although I am somewhat of a newer author, my writing style is enjoyed by many that follow me. Most of my posts are comedic in tone, but still consist of honest opinions and thoughtful insights on pertinent parenting topics. jthreeNMe is planning its expansion and you will not want to miss it!
I truly hope that you will join my circus; as we continue to travel around, arriving without warning, and delighting the general public with our perfectly, imperfect family. If life is gonna be a circus, why not enjoy the ride? JOIN ME! Because I sure am!
