3 Of The Best Baby Products For Your Second Baby

3 Of The Best Baby Products For Your Second Baby

When I had Morgan almost two years ago the amount of stuff that we needed seemed overwhelming. However now that I am almost due with Parker, I was struggling to think of what we could possibly need. It’s funny how with the second baby you realize that most of the gizmos and fancy baby items are not at all useful. For example, why did we need a wipes warmer. I still can’t figure that one out. I used it just a few times and then realized it was more of a hassle then it was worth. In fact it never really kept the wipes that warm and instead was just another power sucker!

In today’s post I am going to share with you 3 Of The Best Products For Your Second Baby. These are the items that I will most definitely be using with my new little bundle of joy.

Number 1: JOOVY Caboose Too Ultralight Graphite Stand-On Tandem Stroller

Your baby’s stroller is 50% preference and 50% function. I have seen some of my closest friends suffer with terribly hard to use strollers because of the name brand, the color or the design. I am all about function! Especially when it comes to something that will become your best friend on Maternity Leave. The JOOVY Caboose Too Stroller can hold both of my children in a safe, secure and lightweight manner. It is easy to maneuver, light yet sturdy, has a removable rear seat, rear stand-on platform/bench seat, and a reclining front seat. And best of all it accommodates those of us that are vertically gifted – hubby is 6’4″ and this is a comfortable stroller for him to push. Unlike so many of the other ones that he has to crouch over.

Number 2: Skip Hop Duo Signature Carry All Travel Diaper Bag Backpack

The same exact sentiment that goes along with a stroller is what goes along with a diaper bag. 50% preference and 50% function. When I had Morgan I picked the super cute, not very handy or comfortable over the one shoulder typical diaper bag. It served it’s purpose for about 5 months, then Austin and I both just stopped using it and opted for different options we had around the house. We ultimately settled on a small backpack that we pretty much use for everything Morgan related.

However, now that we will have two kiddos, we need something larger and a backpack is the way to go! This Skip Hop offers multiple pockets for organization and functionality. It’s extra large interior stores everything that we need from diapers, backup clothing, a small cooler for milk and snacks and extra bibs, blankets and toys. The best part is it looks tactical which makes the hubby okay with carrying it! Bonus for moms!!!

Number 3: Summer Infant Dual View Baby Monitor

One of the items that gives me the most peace of mind in my home is my baby monitor. I can watch Morgan during nap time and bed time and listen to her without ever interrupting my Netflix. It’s given Austin and I a sense of peace in a world of baby chaos. However, now that we are going to have two babies to watch the last thing we want is yet another screen. So when we found that the Summer Infant Dual View Baby Monitor with two cameras and a large display has a split screen view we were totally overjoyed. We can now watch both babies on the same screen! It’s really the little things in life that make it so much better! You can even add two additional cameras to monitor playrooms or their bedroom doors.

For all of you that are expecting another baby I hope that you found this post useful. It’s also great knowing that the once overwhelming need for so many things is in the past!
