Why does it always seem like everything happens all at the same time. Since October 2017 my life has been non-stop go go go! I started a new side venture; my son was born; we bought a new house; Christmas celebrations; my daughters second birthday; New Years and now house renovations! It’s been extremely hectic these past few months but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Every event has been amazing and unforgettable. I am also one of those weirdos that believes that when I am busy my best self shines through.
This year I have decided that a majority of my posts will focus on your best self. I wholeheartedly believe that you are at your best when your life is organized. I know that for me that is 100% true. If my home is neat and tidy my productivity inside and outside of the home improves drastically. I also know that when I am excited about a new venture my first thoughts are how I will organize myself to include that venture into my daily, weekly and monthly routine.
This is what brings me to today’s post, 21 Extremely Easy Ways To Improve Your Finances. Having a healthy relationship with your finances revolves around two basic tenements 1. Organization and 2. Routine. In the bullet list below I will outline 21 Extremely Easy Ways To Improve Your Finances by being organized and by establishing simple routines. Ready or not your world is about to be rocked with just how easy it can all be!!!
Fooled you, not just yet! First I have a disclaimer to make, I am not a financial professional nor do I claim to be by any means. What gives me credibility in this arena is that I have been living 100% debt free for the past couple of years. I was able to pay off a 6 figure student loan debt in 6 years and I currently save more than 40% of my income all while living a very full life. So now without further ado here is my list!

Just like Spring I believe that Fall is a time for new beginnings. In the Fall leaves change colors and fall from the trees, birds and butterflies migrate South for the upcoming Winter months and I personally am in the mood to purge and organize. The Fall inspires me to review my belongings, have fun garage sales and give that eBay account a boost in sales. That is why I am so very happy to share with all of you the latest book that has ignited that spark. It is called “Organizing for Your Lifestyle: Adaptable Inspirations from Socks to Suitcases” by Jane Stoller.
Jane’s style of writing is so inviting. The entire book can be read in just an afternoon, not because it is lacking content but because you can’t wait to see what bright idea she throws at you next. The book begins with Jane’s mantra, “organizing is a lifestyle, but it needs to be your lifestyle”. This is so true, so many times other organization books try to alter your mindset completely, which does not work for everyone. Jane’s alternative to a one size fits all approach is to make sure that her reader is comfortable with the changes they are making so that they will continue to live an organized life long after reading and implementing the techniques in her book.

My sister had started selling on eBay a few years back. One day she was telling me about all of the success that she was having selling her unwanted treasures. She was now the second person in my close circle that was selling and making money on eBay. The other person was Austin. But you know husbands they do all sorts of crazy things so I pretty much ignored his success.
It was a little over 2 years ago now that I had just finished my spring cleaning for the season and I had so many things that I just couldn’t part with at another yard sale. Although I had perfected yard sales and truly loved them (read my post about it here: How to Make A Fortune And Have Fun At Your Yard Sale!); my yard sales were only generating so much compared to what I could sell some items for on eBay. Especially my budding purse collection that needed to be refreshed. Out with the old, in with the new!!!
So I finally sat down with Austin and he showed me his eBay selling techniques. I can be quite stubborn with learning new things. Especially if it doesn’t entirely interest me, or if I want a nice shortcut. So why not use Austin’s expertise, he had been selling on eBay for years. Small car gadgets and machine parts that he would make good money on. I needed to know his secrets. And quickly, I didn’t have time to waste!
