How Did You Do? Spring Cleaning Stress or Success?

How Did You Do? Spring Cleaning Stress or Success

Gosh time sure did flying by, Spring ended 8 whole days ago. It is no longer my favorite cleaning time of the year. It is now Summer where the pressure to purge is no longer a thought and instead it’s all about Summer fun and relaxation. This Spring I had so many plans on how I was going to clean and organize our home. This Spring I also found out I was expecting another baby. The shift from cleaning to dr’s appointments and baby planning was an exciting one. However it also made me lose a little bit of cleaning focus.

In today’s post I will review what went well during my Spring Cleaning journey; what went not as planned; and what 3 products I found that I just couldn’t live without. But before I get into the nitty gritty I want to revisit some of the Spring Cleaning posts that I published during this magical time of year in case you missed them. My favorite post was definitely the last one listed. My entire cleaning method changed and it was for the better!

How To Explain The Importance Of Memorial Day To Your Toddler

How To Explain The Importance Of Memorial Day To Your Toddler

In March I wrote a super successful post about How to Explain The Spirit Of St. Patrick’s Day To Your Toddler. Then in April I followed it up with How To Explain The Meaning Of Easter To Your Toddler. In May came How To Explain The Importance Of Mother’s Day To Your Toddler. I received overwhelmingly positive feedback for all of these posts. I also learned so much from doing them, and found that I really enjoyed researching and writing them. A recurring comment that I received was that I should create a similar post for each upcoming holiday. I think that is a fantastic idea! I will have to explain each holiday to Morgan anyway, and what a better way than to actually learn the facts behind them. Today I will be sharing with you How To Explain The Importance Of Memorial Day To Your Toddler.

To be honest all I knew about Memorial Day was that it is a Holiday honoring those that served in the armed forces and have since passed. It also commemorates my and Austin’s wedding anniversary. This year Austin and I will be celebrating 10 years! We had an extremely patriotic wedding. It was at the Richard Nixon Library and Birthplace. We requested every single American Flag that they had on premises. We dined in a replica of the White House East Room. And our guests even got to board and tour Marine One. In my eyes our wedding was absolutely perfect!

But I digress, this post is about Memorial Day and as always I want to know more. Especially because when Morgan does come to an age when she will start asking me what it all means I want to know a little about what I’m talking about. Currently Morgan is still too young to understand fully what I share with her but I wanted to make sure that I did my research so that I can pass on to her the stories and traditions of the many holidays that we celebrate here in America.

I do absolutely love traditions and customs. So I set out to learn as much as I could about Memorial Day and the meaning behind the holiday. Here are the top 7 things that I learned about the importance of Memorial Day. I will use them to explain it to my little Morgan. Thank you so much to my wonderful friend Google. You have steered me in so many interesting directions while researching this history.

I will have to explain each holiday to Morgan anyway and what a better way than to actually learn the facts behind them. Today I will be sharing with you How To Explain The Importance Of Mother’s Day To Your Toddler.

To be honest all I knew about Mother’s Day was that it is a National Holiday honoring mothers and motherhood. I am so every fortunate to have become a mother for the 1st time in 2015. Although I have been celebrating Mother’s Day with my own mother for years and years; until today I didn’t know much about the history of this special day.

Morgan is still too young to understand fully what I share with her but I wanted to make sure that I did my research so that I can pass on to her the stories and traditions of the many holidays that we celebrate here in America.

How To Eliminate Stress. Creating The Best Pre-Baby Stockpile

This post contains affiliate links, which means that at no additional cost to you I may receive a small commission if you purchase an item using my links. I however will only recommend items that I have in fact used and love.

If there is one thing that I am known for it’s my irrational need to be prepared. Expecting a baby made my compulsion kick into overdrive. I stress out easily if I am not prepared for something. Literally anything! So of course I took my pre-baby stockpiling to the extreme. Morgan is close to 15 months now and I’m still good on most of our necessities! I learned a lot from creating my stockpile. In this post I want to share with you the best pre-baby stockpile must haves.
