Today’s feature ILoveBarushka is an Etsy Store Owner. She has one amazing son who she raises as a stay at home mom in addition to creating a variety of beautiful handmade goods to sell on Etsy. I am so happy to introduce you to Amit!
My name is Amit and ILoveBarushka is my dream come true. ILoveBarushka is all about making your home the place you want to wake up in the morning and come back to at the end of the day. My store features beautiful home decor storage baskets, hoop wall hangings and so much more. Everything is handmade with love by me at www.ILoveBarushka.etsy.com.
My story starts in kindergarten, when I met my husband to be (he might have known that I would be his wife one day but I had no idea). Growing up in a small town allowed me the freedom and lots of time to dream and imagine. When I was 21 years old I renewed contact with my kindergarten friend and after 9 years of friendship we got married.
With a “push” from my parents when I became of age to attend a University, I went to study engineering, so I could have a well-earned career. I graduated after 4 years with a BS in Materials Sciences and Engineering with high honors and I worked in the field for 3 years.
On August 2014 my husband and I had our cute little boy, Inbar. He is a mini “copy paste” of his father, with adorable golden curls and a charming chin dimple. And so my life has changed. Preparing for my baby boy’s nursery was exciting; it brought out the best in me for my special little one. I bought embroidery hoops and fabrics, I trimmed, crafted, glued and I felt my true inner self. During my maternity leave I attended a workshop where we knitted a little heart. I got some cute golden T-shirt yarn and a crochet hook. While the instructor explained, I remembered how I knitted scarves and other things when I was in high school.
When I arrived back home that day, I decided to crochet a basket, and so I did. All of my dreams and creativity popped out: the need to be at home and do things that filled my heart and made me feel fulfilled was stronger than ever.
I decided to do it – CREATE SMILE DREAM!
And so with that I opened my Etsy shop – ILoveBarushka!
My items are not only handmade but I dream, design, make, photograph, describe, publish and love each item. I crochet decorative storage baskets which are as handsome as they are handy. In addition to multipurpose baskets for your home office, diaper changing table, jewelry organizer, and entryway keys bowls. The possibilities are endless.
I also make baby name signs which are a perfect grandparent or aunt gift.
In addition I make cool hanging pockets for your kids room or home office.

What worked and what didn’t and what products did I find to be absolutely invaluable during my never-ending quest to clean my home and simply my life. Also read about the extremely interesting lesson I learned about raising a minimalist child.
